The Weavers of the Future Call for Good Practices invites cultural institutions, researchers, artists, and community-based organizations to share projects that connect culture, heritage, and local knowledge with climate action and regenerative futures.
The international exhibition seeks to showcase ongoing and completed initiatives where living cultures, heritage, artistic practice, and local knowledge are integrated to strengthen community engagement, advance climate justice, and foster meaningful connections between people and place. We particularly encourage young people, women’s and intergenerational project submissions.
Projects may use various artistic approaches, such as visual, sound, performance, textile, narrative, or hybrid, and including traditional, indigenous, popular, or experimental forms. Initiatives can also focus on environmental or anthropological themes, among others. The main requirement is collaborative work with the community.
Chosen submissions can use non-traditional presentation formats, including multimedia video and audio technologies, as well as written, verbal or images.
Selected initiatives will:
🌍Be featured in an international digital exhibition alongside the COP30
🌍Contribute to the “EcoLivre” international meeting alongside the COP30
🌍 Contribute to an open-access publication and global dialogue on culture and climate.
